From 8 February to 12 April 2015, Vitraria Glass + A Museum in Venice will present the exhibition Precious – from Picasso to Koons which collects jewels of the private collection of Diane Venet, wife of the French sculptor Bernar Venet, consisting of rare works including design and goldsmith of modern and contemporary artists such as Damien Hirst, Lucio Fontana, Louise Bourgeois, Anish Kapoor, Jeff Koons, Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Yoko Ono, César, Frank Stella.

The jewels were created especially for her or recovered after investigations, meetings, travel to track down rare pieces. “I’m not interested in the classic gem, one of the brand, but the jewel is a unique work of art that, where there are dreams, suffering, torment, creative artist,”  she said.

She is particularly fond of the ring had as a gift from Yoko Ono, Peace engraved with the symbol of the hard Imagine.

After stopping in Roubaix, New York, Athens, Valencia, Miami and Seoul, the exhibition arrives for the first time in Italy and finds its place at Vitraria + A Glass Museum in Palazzo Barbarigo Nani Mocenigo, the new glass museum and collaboration with other types of art such as design, architecture, fashion, and new technologies.
