The recent presentations given in Milan were projects that Expo Milano 2015 has dedicated to photography, “the media that best interprets the vision and purpose of the Universal Exhibition highlighting and narrating the most diverse aspects from reportage to anthropology, from the vision of nature to that of art. “

To illustrate the nine exhibitions were Giuseppe Sala, sole commissioner Government Representative for Expo Milano 2015 and CEO of Expo 2015 SpA, James Msekela, Commissioner General and Ambassador of Tanzania in Rome, Andrea Illy, Chairman and CEO of illycaffè SpA, Roberto Koch, Founder and Director of Contrast, Ferdinando Scianna, Magnum Photos photographer, Irene Kung, photographer contrast, and Enrico Deluchi, CEO of Canon Italy SpA.

“The nine exhibitions in the common areas of the Cluster,” said Giuseppe Sala, “will be one of the highlights of the cultural offer of the Universal, with contributions from Illy, who first brought Salgado, and collaborations of Expo 2015 with Magnum/Contrast, who built a large exhibition, with eight internationally renowned photographers that are called to show their look with eight original papers on specific topics of each Cluster “.
