In line with the theme of Expo 2015, Feeding the Planet. Energy for life, Cartoomics presents “Even comics eat” a major exhibition devoted to the relationship between food and cartoon characters.
The exhibition, curated by Alberto Brambilla, Luca Bertuzzi, Riccardo Mazzoni and Luigi Bona in collaboration with WOW- Space Comics, propose, 13 to March 15, 2015 at the Fiera Milano Rho, a journey into the world of food as told by comics and cartoons, where, by the way of nutrition and energy, they are seen in all colors … by wild boars that Obelix ingurgita live in preference to the magic potion, the indigestible kryptonite to Superman, and even the mothballs of Eta Beta, spinach Popeye, the specialties of the rat Remy from Ratatouille, ramen manga, lasagna Garfield.
There will be about 30 protagonists of this “greedy” exhibition and will also present the recipes in which to prepare the specialties of favorite comic book heroes.
After visiting the exhibition the public will learn to cook cakes of Grandma Duck and donuts of Homer Simpson, younger visitors, who want to participate in fun workshops to prepare cute cupcake themed Cartoomics, the expert cake designer Barbara Perego will be present.
