Starting February 13, 2015 until March 8, 2015, the Protestant Church of St. Moritz will present “Travel in Italy in the ´60”, an exhibition that tells of a historical period characterized by creativity, research and lively artistic experimentation through the works of twenty authors.

A preview of what will be the eighth edition of St. Moritz Art Masters, the most anticipated event in St. Moritz, from August 21 to 30 2015, will be devoted to Italy as guest of honor.

Showcasing a selection by Francesca Pola of works by Lucio Fontana, Piero Manzoni, Enrico Castellani, Alberto Burri, Mario Schifano, Alighiero Boetti, Mario Merz, Augustine Bonalumi, Mario Schifano, Mimmo Rotella, Franco Angeli, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Giuseppe Penone Paul Scheggi, Giuseppe Pinot Gallizio, Gianni Colombo, Piero Dorazio, Tano Festa, Pino Pascali, Giorgio Griffa: twenty authors are protagonists of the golden Italian age, described as the curator, which is expressed not only in visual art, but together and in relation with other disciplines, such as architecture, design, fashion, literature and together theater, film, photography and music.

Three Italian cities become important in this decade hub of innovative research: Milan, with special research by Lucio Fontana and the monochrome knobs Enrico Castellani and Agostino Bonalumi, Rome, with decollage Mimmo Rotella and Mario Schifano reinterpreting the new period of consumerism, and Turin, with the experiments on ‘Arte Povera and Conceptual Art, whose performances and installations by Mario Pistoletto and Mario Merz are the highest expression.
