In New York the shows of the Fashion Week continue, and we see those who have presented a new concept of fashion, no longer based on the research of a new stylistic level but rather at the level of attitude of the different types of women presented by the designers.

Whether boy-ish (Coach), romantic (Altuzarra), souvage (Christian Siriano), decadent (Jason Wu) or cosmopolitan (Victoria Beckham, Suno, Nonoo), the woman of next autumn-winter 2015/16 will stand out from the previous season for the little details (embroidery, prints, materials, accessories), added, modified, and re-interpreted by the designers.

It was disappointing, maybe a little too high expectations for general and personal, to see that the fashion concepts presented on the catwalk were not innovative and original. From the femme-black-metal of Alexander Wang, the dandy-girl of Altuzarra to the decadent femininity of Jason Wu, nothing is modern, fresh, and captivating as had happened in the spring-summer 2015 collections starting from the Alexander Wang sneaker women who captivated and charmed everyone and I thought, could evolve into a growing ideological female concept.

But interesting are the novelty products introduced by some designers. Magnificent ggowns gala of Christian Siriano, erotic and sensual socks with lace to view over the boots of Altuzarra (which also celebrates the launch of its collection of bags), fur for Wu as well as games of folds made of mesh and pants from the good Victoria Beckham that, for the coming winter, widens her color palette.

Please note, to mark the spirit of optimism that is invading the fashion industry, is to see that fashion is leaving the concept of individualistic style to make way for a common style and community where you have to stand out yet in an individual way, although be part of the same “gang“, the same group.
