In an atmosphere dominated by hyper decadent old computers, televisions and pinball machines, the autumn-winter collection 2015-16 from Givenchy proves to be a big surprise.

Dominating the catwalk was shameless opulence but composed and allure of old and retro. Cosmopolitan princesses and faraway countries (tribal but also Asian) are the protagonists staged by Riccardo Tisci.

The cuts of jackets, pants and short dresses are dry, indeed, bone dry and perfectly delineate the female body as if it were a sculpture. Materials such as brocade, velvet (covered with Swarovski crystals) and fur are precious and underline the bold and strong aristocracy of the Givenchy woman.

Novelty classic jacket that Bar, a modern twist, turns, growing in the hips and tapering in revers almost like a kimono, in an architectural work and is crowned heads icon for the next season. Coats in dark colors, surprising for the floral pattern data from brocades.

Note on finally to the tribal jewelry that become sine qua non of the new princess Givenchy.
