Monday, March 9, at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, was held the press conference to inaugurate the new exhibition dedicated to Gianfranco Ferre “The White Shirt in my opinion. Gianfranco Ferre. “
In collaboration with the Textile Museum Foundation of Prato, the exhibition was organized and produced by the Royal Palace and the Fondazione Gianfranco Ferre. To take care of his promotion were the City of Milan, the Policy Department for Work, Fashion and Design and the Department of Culture.
DSC_5242A treat the exposure was Daniela Degl’Innocenti, who knew how to bring out the poetic and creative tailoring of Gianfranco Ferré, through the discovery and exploration of the white shirt, pointing design elements as innovative. “Sign my style” or “contemporary lexicon of elegance”, so that the designer defines the role of the white shirt in his career.
In the suggestive Hall of the Caryatids of the Royal Palace, the exhibition is designed to give strength to the different figurative languages with which the universe shirt was read: worn on mannequin heads, drawings, technical details, sketches, photographs, advertising and editorial images, video and installations.
A true masterpiece.
The exhibition will be open free to the public from March 10 to April 1, 2015.
