Milano Fashion Week is officially started yesterday, and the night before Vogue Fashion Night out ha animated the city.

On the catwalks, yesterday, Alberta Ferretti, Gucci and Dsquared2 opened the dances. Look how!

Gucci Collection was as aggressively youthful , sportswear elevated far above its polyester provenance to a newly luxurious, Lurex-loaded plane.

The sportswear reference sprinted down Gucci’s newly decorated catwalk and included baggy track-pants elasticated at the waist and ankle with go-faster stripes of russet and peach running down each leg, Oversized gauze-backed T-shirts were emblazoned at the front with next summer’s Gucci print, all magnified twists and Art Deco-ish whorls in poppy metallic colours.

Alberta Ferretti, before her fashion show, said: ““Positive energy, the joy of living,”, and she took inspiration by the south of Italy, in fact Italian designer said also: the land of sun and sea and colo,“.

It’s possible to see this energy in models dressed in pure white, trimmed with ribbons and multicolored floral embroidery. The collection is very technical: embossed plissé, placed floral prints, smocked mousseline, the tiered skirts, the shirtwaister, the little cropped linens.
