Miss Westwood has spent the last few years to say “Less is More”; luckily, fashion-system has transposed her words, so now this is the new motto.
This vision of fashion, and lifestyle i can say, has two important faces, for me of course: Maggie Gyllenhaal and Julia Roberts.
Both of them are acclaimed actresses, with movies that are pieces of film history.
But, on the red carpet and in daily life, they are iconic for their semplicity, elegance, charme, great sense of style, also when they wear a white t-shirt and jeans.
They are not flashy, never too many accessories or make-up, but a perfect smile: i think that if you smile, you have the best accessory.
They are very expert of a fine art: mix-and-match, especially for daily outfits. Nothing exaggerated, but stylish and comfortable clothing.
Heels? Sometimes, but welcome to ballerinas, sleepers, sneakers and boots. Large bag and shoulder bags replace red-carpet clutch; blouses, shirts, skirts and comfortable trousers or jeans are declined in many different ways.
Dresses are good for free time, but on condition that they are always fresh, easy and tres chic.
Once, Kylie Minogue said: “Describe the elegance as a serene and quiet confidence intimate”, and if you look this talented and beautiful women, you can say that it’s true
