Oscar 2014: funny moments, red carpet and winners

Good Monday! Smile like Ellen De Generes and her friends! What incredible Oscar Night! It has been crazy, funny, predictable but not too much for the Awards.

Ellen De Generes was the host of the show, after last year, she has tried to make a fun evening that could become just a long string of awards and accolades. Among selfie with different actors and actresses, pizza in the room, immediately given to a pregnant Kerry Whashington, Brad Pitt handing out plastic plates (with six children he is accustomed), hilarious jokes at the expense of the guests, like Liza Minnelli, the american host was able to bring the American comedy on stage.

Jennifer Lawrence is falling on the red carpet, Jared Leto has reminded those who are fighting for freedom in the world during his acceptance speech, Pharrell Williams and U2 have sparked applause from the audience, and even at home, with their performances. The women competed for the scepter of “Best Dressed”, took home with an Oscar  by Cate Blanchett. Jennifer Lawrence follows closely in her wonderful Dior: fresh, bright and sensual. Practically perfect.

Gravity has won more than we expected, but it is “12 years a slave” to take home the Oscar for Best Picture. Brad Pitt took example from his friend George Clooney: if you can not win the Oscar as an actor, win as a producer. Leonardo Di Caprio is left high and dry again: hold on, Leo, it will also be your moment. Sooner or later.
