Milano Fashion Week – Best from catwalks

Good Friday! What better way to start the weekend with the best, so far, of the Milan Fashion Week? Hits and misses of MFW first days.

So, let’s start with Alberta Ferretti fashion show. Her collection is folk and earthy, elegant and ethereal, a lot rich green moss and hints of tarnished copper, flower embroideries and breathtaking paradise made as mesh panels on dresses or clean. Collection perfect for the night!

Fendi fashion show has seen the ubiquitous Cara Delevingne on the catwalk with the bag that everyone will want to have, a little Karl Lagerfeld always with you, complete with sunglasses blacks , bright white with a ponytail added extras – a Mohican hair pink fur . Wow!

Highlights of the collection are: military jackets or caps and a shrug of fox fur counter, parka heavy wool, ong sable coats , huge fur hats – slash- caps. A collection that sees the mix of the military style with the urban. everyone wants at least a piece of this collection. Karl strikes again!

From Gucci, a muted color palette, as sage green , pink, duck egg blue , mustard and a cheetah -print pony skin, covered sleeveless dresses A-line, popped up again and again in various forms, paired with python boots with square heel , or, a clean upgrade on the house signature loafer thread. A collection that likes because is young and pretty, but it does not impress. Where is the style, the excess, the trademark Gucci? Where are the strong colors and the creativity typical of this brand?

A nice collection is that of Max Mara.
